our work explores how space, objects, and everyday experiences can be reinterpreted to create meaningful and lasting spatial narratives.
we coined the term “of thingness” to describe the inherent objectivity found in things. our work focuses on reinterpreting this sense of thingness, recognizing that small, everyday elements often hold the power to create meaningful change. Through a different perspective on the ordinary, new possibilities for transformation emerge.

no waves ever be the same




waviness flagship store는 서울 한남동에 위치한 75㎡ 규모의 의류 매장으로, 브랜드의 ‘파동(wave)’ 개념을 공간으로 구현한 oftn Studio의 프로젝트다. 멀리서는 하나의 물결처럼 보이지만 가까이에서는 다양한 크기와 형태의 파동이 드러나며, 재료와 질감의 조합을 통해 통일감과 디테일을 동시에 전달한다.

공간의 중심에는 회전하는 원형 기둥 캐비닛이 있어 장식과 기능을 겸하며, 내부에는 액세서리와 거울이 숨겨져 있어 새로운 경험을 제공한다. 자연 목재와 금속 소재를 조화롭게 사용해 따뜻하면서도 세련된 분위기를 완성했다.

입구의 긴 행거부터 다양한 높이의 디스플레이, 그리고 곡선형 피팅룸까지 이어지는 동선은 고객이 자연스럽게 공간을 탐색하도록 유도한다. 이 매장은 단순한 쇼핑을 넘어 브랜드의 감성과 철학을 몰입감 있게 전달하는 공간이다.



waviness flagship store is a 75㎡ clothing retail space located in Hannam-dong, Seoul, designed by oftn Studio. Inspired by the concept of “waves,” the space appears as a single form from a distance but reveals a variety of wave-like shapes and details up close, creating both unity and richness through diverse materials and textures.

At the center of the store is a rotating cylindrical pillar cabinet that serves both decorative and functional purposes. Hidden within are accessory displays and mirrors, offering customers an interactive and engaging experience. The use of natural wood materials combined with metallic elements creates a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere.

From the elongated hanger at the entrance to varied display heights and a uniquely curved fitting room, the layout encourages a natural flow through the space. More than just a retail environment, the store delivers an immersive experience that embodies the brand’s identity and philosophy.
